It looks like an old hotel from the times of the USSR. Everything is clean, new TV and AC in the room. The room was big, with many drawers to keep all clothes.

Tourist Hotel is located on a major boulevard, on the left side coming from the center. With massive letters on the top, it is difficult to miss. Even though it was originally a Soviet-style structure, It has been renovated recently, so everything is new and clean. I wish I was there in the summer, so that I could also try out the pool. The receptionist speaks English and is extremely helpful, and even when I asked for breakfast to begin at 8:00 because of my early schedule, she accomodated us. I've read some of the negative comments, but still decided to give it a try. They have surely improved a lot, as I had the most wonderful experience.

Old Soviet hotel but newly renovated. Staff spoke good English and went out of their way to help.

All is good. Hotel under construction but still service is on the good point.

The hotel was thoroughly renovated so I had an impression that I was the first person ever to sleep in my bed, everything was super new and clean even though the room was quite small.
