The Crown and Miter Hotel is located in the center of Carlisle city center, with shops and local historic attraction such as Carlisle Cathedral and Castle just 2 minutes' walk from the hotel. The Crown and Miter retains its Edwardian-style traits throughout the property, including the rooms. The on site restaurant has a Table d’Hote Menu and is open from 6pm to 9pm. I appreciated the attention to detail, in particular the three safety bars for the tub/shower combination. The staff was very kind. While I didn’t try Room Service, it was a pleasure to see that it was available.
