Centre of the city , perfect for us,really great value for money and everything there you need for 1 or 2 nights ,pointless looking e;lsewhere
Being a grade 2 listed building, the hotel was full of character, creaky floors,wood panelling, no plastic as in more modern hotels. Had a very spacious room with tiled bathroom. Didn't have breakfast in the hotel as there is a Wetherspoons across the road. Located right in the centre of Carlisle, its in an ideal spot. Would definitely stay here again.
Staff very helpful, gave us a room closer to reception which helped with carrying our equipment. Room very noisy due to pubs outside, but this was expected due to the hotels location.
