The space is intimate and close to the train. After a long day, it was nice to not have to depend on other methods of transportation.
It was in the heart of Harlem! Right off of 130 street and Frederick Douglas. Train station is about a 10 minute walk and u are 5 blocks from 125th Street and 7 minutes to several major highways. Yes it is located in a Brownstone with a 3rd floor walk up. Perfect for 2 ppl!
The space was beautiful and the location was excellent. The owner was so responsive and helpful.
It was surprisingly spacious for a studio apartment. My wife and I had more than enough space to be comfortable. The street was quite and safe. And the location was close to all the action in Harlem. There was plenty of available street parking as long as you don't mind circling the nearby blocks lo g enough to find a space. Just note which days/times are off limits for street cleaning. The unit was on 130th. You can catch the subway to anywhere in the city on 125th, just a few blocks away, or catch a bus just a block away.
The room was fully equipped and nice! Bed was good, shower was great, toilet was great.
