Location is inside Alishan NP and close to train station. Taiwanese style breakfast had a variety of food esp for vegetarians.
Location of hotel is inside Alishan NP. Train station is within walking distance. It provides sunrise tour (not train tour) in small group. Staff were friendly to answer questions.
I like how the hotel gave us free all you can eat breakfast at a local restaurant the next morning.
Fantastic location within the Yushan National Park. Very professional, helpful and thoughtful management from all staff members and employees connected to the hotel. I am very grateful for everything they did to contribute to my magical stay in the Alishan Township area. Gau Shan Ching also provided the base location for my flawless hike up Yushan in perfect weather and return for rest and relaxation before eventual departure. Awesome, mei li, hen hao from someone who has been on the top of mountains all over thew world. Viva Yushan!
Great location. Spacious room. Free and tasty breakfast buffet. Overall fairly clean, although it definitely shows its age. Pre-check-in luggage storage is available.
