Hostel Bajala Siargao, Генерал Луна, Филиппины

I LOVED this hostel so much!! I transferred from a different one and breathed a sigh of relief and how clean and calm this location is. I stayed in the all female dorm and felt very safe the whole time, and it was a very thoughtfully designed room (stairs or very wide ladders to upper beds, secret compartments for valuables by your head, hooks and a shelf for each person). The staff was very kind and patient with me as well. The best part is that it's about a 5-7 minute moped drive from General Luna, so it's much quieter and has a private beach. It was incredibly relaxing, and I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better hostel on the island for the price.

The overall ambience in the hostel was very upmarket and relaxed. Seemed like a place for travelers that are looking for a more refined hostel experience. The rooms were good, beds were comfortable. The restaurant on site had really nice food.
