Housed in a former Guild Hall, the Hotel des Balances enjoys a picturesque location on the Reuss river in the heart of Old Lucerne. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Most rooms offers views of the Chapel Bridge, the Jesuit Church and the Weinmarkt square. The Restaurant La Balance serves excellent French and Swiss cuisine and features a river-side terrace. Beautiful hotel and location, cleaner than most other places. Excellent customer service
Gorgeous room, BIG, balcony was absolutely lovely to eat breakfast on. Views wonderful. Central location. I was incredibly impressed by the quality of the hair dryer and the fact that they had a diffuser attachment for us curly girls! First hotel I've ever stayed at that had a diffuser available. It made me so happy. This hotel was our favorite stay in Switzerland (8 cities).
The location is idyllic and super conveniently located.
The hotel is in a central location easy to find. Rooms were very comfortable.
Hotel des Balances was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were very helpful, the rooms luxurious and we had a lovely view from our room. The hotel is very centrally located to everything in Lucerne.
